1.1 Thank you for visiting www.thehub.msca.edu.au (the HUB). The HUB is owned and operated by Montessori Schools and Centres Australia Limited (ABN 42 636 033 899) (MSCA, we, or us). We have provided the following rules for your ease. However, these rules do not replace the terms and conditions of use, available on the HUB. You have to follow terms and conditions of use to access and use the HUB. Through the HUB, you can view, browse, upload and download resources and communicate with other Montessori Schools and Centres that are members of the HUB.
1.2 To use the HUB, you must be 18 years of age or above, a current member of MSCA, be registered with the HUB, and have agreed to our terms of use. We may update the terms and conditions at any time, so make sure that you stay up to date.
1.3 We may collect information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, preferred username, preferred password and school or centre details including, the name, the address, the time zone, the age range of students at the school or centre, a logo or a photo. We may use this information on the HUB and make it available to other HUB users. You are responsible for your account, even if you are acting on behalf of a third party.
1.4 You allow us to send you regular emails, newsletters, telephone calls or SMS updates from us or selected third parties. You allow us to share your information with third parties with whom we believe it is necessary to facilitate its provision of products, services, or functionality to you.
1.5 Access to and use of the HUB are not transferable and are limited to the period in which you are a registered user of the HUB and a member of MSCA. We may, at any time and without prior notice, remove or disable your access to the HUB for any reason or no reason.
1.6 We do not control and are not responsible for yours or any other user of the HUB’s behaviour, actions, or information uploaded or made available on the HUB.
1.7 Please do not upload anything to the HUB that contains any advertising, promotional materials, pyramid schemes, chain letters, spam, mass mailings, or other forms of solicitation and is misleading or false, obscene, harassing, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexual, slanderous, or promotes violence. We expect you to act professionally and that all the information you upload will be accurate and not violate any laws or infringe any intellectual property rights. Otherwise, we may choose to terminate your access to the HUB.
1.8 You will not be compensated, including money or goods, if you upload information to the HUB.
1.9 While you are a member of MSCA, you will be able to access and use the information on the HUB for free for informational purposes. If you stop being a member, then you must no longer use the information that you found on the HUB.
1.10 If you choose to upload information to the HUB, you remain its owner, however, you provide us the right to use it for our purposes, including providing the information to other HUB users.
1.11 You agree to waive any of your Moral Rights.
1.12 Some third parties will provide you services through the HUB. We are not responsible for these third parties or their services, so make sure that you consider those third party services before using them.
1.13 The HUB is simply a repository, and you are using the HUB and information therein at your own risk. We aren’t perfect and neither is the HUB nor the information therein. Nobody will be responsible if your use results in any loss or liability to you.
1.14 If someone thinks that we should be liable for your misuse of the HUB or the information therein, you will be responsible to cover us financially.
1.15 If you or any other user of the HUB has an issue and it results in going to court, the exclusive venue for resolving any dispute are the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
1.16 The terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or by us, and some will continue after. If you terminate your use of the HUB, your uploaded information will continue to be available to other parties on the HUB. However, you will not be allowed to keep or continue to use any of the information that was made available to you on the HUB, including if you downloaded the information.
1.17 If there is any confusion with these rules, the terms and conditions will provide more information, and if there is a discrepancy, the terms and conditions will prevail. If you wish to notify us about anything relating to these Terms, please contact us at thehub@msca.edu.au.
